  • English Mania - a talk by Jay Walker on TED.com

    之前就有聽說大陸有人教英文是要學習者跟著用喊的

    那時候聽到腦袋閃過的是: 噱頭真多

    但這次看這個video的時候
      忽然想到

    其實這樣的教學法
    應該是有所根據的

    怎麼說呢

    教語言
    最怕的就是學生不敢說 

    老師用正常音量講課
    學生所跟著 produce 出來的就只是一團 mumble

    所以用這種喊的方式來促進學生的英文發音和增加他們敢說的勇氣

    成效應該很顯而易見

    but.. 這些都還是揣測
    only time will tell

    Maybe... maybe I'll give it a try in the next appropriate class... and we'll see for ourselves!! Weee~!

    ... for now, let's just pray that there won't be other classes going on at the same time down the hall when the time comes.... (mind the loudness)
